America’s National Anthem – Happy July 4th

Posted by Orrin Woodward on July 3, 2009

Happy July 4th weekend everybody!  What a great nation we are blessed to live in.  I love America’s National Anthem.  I love this video about its creation also!  Francis Scott Key penned the National Anthem during the war of 1812 against the English.  On this July 4th, while eating your hot dogs, hamburgers, etc with friends, remember to thank our God for all of the brave men and women who sacrificed to give us our freedoms.  This video quotes George Washington saying, “A Christian soldier will die on his feet rather than live on his knees.”  Amen to that!  Freedom is worth sacrificing for. Enjoy the video. God Bless, Orrin Woodward
