Tim Marks’ ascension from crushing personal circumstances to the ranks of the PC is the ultimate story of dream, struggle and victory. That he accomplished this feat at a record-setting pace of thirty-one months is astounding. Tim has proactivity so hard-wired into his DNA that it is an unconscious competence. Anyone who is exposed to his story will be blessed by the lessons he shares. Thank you, Tim, for living a life worthy of record. I am blessed to know you.

Wow … to think failure and struggle are okay. In today’s world where people are constantly being told that we should protect everyone and that life should be ‘safe’ and ‘easy’. As my mom said, ‘life is not easy, get up and try again.’ Thanks to Tim Marks for having the courage to battle it out and be an example to all of us that we can still make it, even after our failures.

I’ve read the book. Oliver is spot on. It truly is a book that is one of my favorite all time reads. Mark takes the reader through all your emotions. Lessons learned will be applied in my life for “Having fun, Making money, & Making a difference” for the glory of God. Thanks Mark for sharing your struggles and your resulting Victory.

Thanks to Tim and Amy for their commitment to doing the right things. Michelle picked up “The Viking” first, and growls at me when I want to look at it, and is constantly interrupting me with quotes and stories. I can not wait to devour it when Michelle is done reading it. Well done Tim Marks!
