HBRN’s Leadership Factory

Posted by Orrin Woodward on September 14, 2012

Tony Cannuli, marketing director for Home Business Radio Network (HBRN) and good friend, recently asked me to co-host the Leadership Factory sponsored by HBRN.  After sitting down with Doug Firebaugh, co-founder of HBRN, I realized his philosophy and mine fit together beautifully. I love when people use their talents and business acumen to focus on making a difference. And that is exactly what HBRN does in the marketplace by providing top content from top leaders in the home-based business profession.

The Leadership Factory will focus on interviews with top leaders across the home-based business field, seeking to understand the secrets of their leadership success. Remember, success leaves clues, and the goal of the Leadership Factory is to cull those clues to the surface so that hungry students from across the world can learn from them. Twice a month on Wednesday at 2 pm Eastern Time, Tony and I will be interviewing leaders and learning along with everyone else. The good news is, since we are utilizing Google Hangout, if you miss the live event, you can always watch the YouTube video of the event.

HBRN and the LIFE business have teamed together to provide top-notch leadership thinking to the home-based business profession free of charge! It doesn’t get much better than that! 🙂 Here is the first Leadership Factory with our special guest Claude Hamilton. Enjoy.

Sincerely,

Orrin Woodward

I couldn’t wait to get on and listen to this interview, because it’s so obvious that Claude’s leadership thinking is at an all time high. Thank you so much for providing the resource for us to learn from the “top-notch leadership thinking” of others who have above average success, like Claude. You said something that stuck with me as I listened. You said “courage isn’t taught, but caught”. Thanks for sharing!

This is such a great video and what a great way to utilize technology. So many great principles from Orrin and Claude and Tony does a great job. He asks some great questions in a unique way. I’d love it if in the future these were opened up for the public to view live as well.

Thanks Orrin and Claude. It’s great to see your influence continuing to go beyond the borders of Team and impacting more and more people around the world.

Orrin and claude, great interview! I have been struggling with the mentor aspect of the business or lack of mentoring, when Ive actually been mentoring with the PC for quite some time in my automobile. I loved your scoreboard segment. Due to my sanguine personality, I’m terrible @ keeping score and is a reflection of my current scoreboard: losing. Thanks for all of the reminders about the things that i have learned but may have forgotten thru your awesome interview gentlemen.

Wow Tony what a great interview! I was just reading an article in our local paper where a local university is looking for mentors and allumi or leaders from the community willing to be trained to mentor students through their year. The need for mentorship is being noticed. My first thought was I should call them. My second thought was who do I think I am to even offer to mentor these students. Then I checked our local TEAM leaders’ comments on my facebook and remembered oh yeah, I am mentored by the likes of Orrin Woodward, Chris Brady, Claude Hamilton, Dan Hawkins, Bill Lewis, Tim Marks, George Guzzardo, Mark Militello, Kirk Birtles, Mark Paul, Joe Darkangelo, our very own Greg Johnson, Denny Smith, Mike Par, Tony Hoffman, Dave Ober, Dave Ranlet and all of their wives who are incredible leading ladies! Of Course I am equipped to mentor college students through a term. It is the purpose in LIFE after all. LEADING the local CHARGE starting with me! Christal Good(Raging Rhino…Freedom Fighters)

I enjoyed listening to the conversation between you, Tony, and Claude. Incredible information on leadership and mentoring. I believe this medium is a great way to reach the younger generation as my two teenagers were interested to stop and take a listen. Both of them asked, “Is that live?”, and one said, “Oh,google hangout.”
    Thanks for your leadership!

Wow, Orrin & Claude – incredible leadercast! Keep ’em coming! I just saw this tonight after our open and I am so fired up I think I may not sleep at all! Part of your ‘protege criteria’ talk reminded me of the scene in ‘Gladiator’ when the slaves take to the arena for the first time…the courageous ones are immediately evident. The others…not so much… As for me, this LIFE journey is unlike ANYTHING I’ve ever experienced in my existence on earth. What a privilege it is to serve, and an honor follow leaders of faith, character, principle and wisdom. Thank you for casting the dream, enduring the climb with all the set backs, achieving so many amazing victories and for showing people another way to live. See you in Columbus, Micah
