No Dream; No Guts; No Story
Posted by Orrin Woodward on July 7, 2014
Here is a short segment from the LIFE Leadership Summer Convention. Cinderella Man is one of my favorite movies because it is based upon the true story of James J. Braddock. Don’t tell me the size of your obstacles, tell me the size of your dream! Chris Brady, Tim Marks, Claude Hamilton, Bill Lewis, Dan Hawkins, and George Guzzardo have dreams that power them past their obstacles. How about you?
Sincerely,

Thanks for the great talk Orrin.
As I was just reading again in “The Magic of Thinking Big” we need to learn from the examples of other people who gone before us. Read about people with great thinking who overcame the challenges of life. The value of learning from history is to understand the thinking of people, great and otherwise, see their actions along with the results over time.
James Braddock used the challenge of a broken hand and his skills became honed in an unintended way. The key was, he didn’t quit.

One of my fav movies too. Then I saw Ali, well long ago, super sick, so sad. I know Greg really likes Rocky. He used to watch it all the time.
