America’s Power Pendulum

American society is moving away from concord and quickly into coercion. Where people used to function with leadership and service to others, it is now functioning more and more under compulsion and threats. Unfortunately, this is the normal outcome when the State assumes responsibility for society’s roles.
In my soon-to-be-released book And Justice for All, I cover the roles of the force State and free society. Anytime the roles get mixed up the Power Pendulum moves into either chaos or coercion. LIFE Leadership is an all-volunteer community based upon leadership and service to others. Our goal is to build compensated communities and teach people entrepreneurship and the principles of a healthy civilization.

Hello Orrin,
What you are writing about makes me realize we are sliding down the slippery slope.
There was an article at BBC News website that told of a family from Bulgaria who just moved to Grand Rapids, MI. It told of the father being put in a labor prison camp for speaking of freedom just a few years ago in the 1980’s, which is scary. They came here as the Berlin Wall was taken down.
Your message is one we need to hear. With our principles being changed and challenged every time we go to the polls.

Orrin, This is another book that I’m anxiously awaiting to read! The Power Pendulum is something that I’ve never seen before becoming involved with LIFE. What a great and easly understood diagram! The Pendulum is moving toward Coercion at a faster and faster rate. I’ve been on this Earth almost 53 years and I’ve seen the Losses. Why not, once LIFE is 10-15 Million strong also become a political force that helps straighten out some of the negative directions that American society is taking?

Hillel, I believe true change in society is when the people change and thus the political situation naturally changes. I am going to focus on people change and education on the principles of free societies. I do believe that leaders in politics will recognize society has changed and then represent better ideas in the political sphere. 🙂 thanks, Orrin
